I love this info graphic from the home page of Yahoo Sports, NHL. It’s on the edge of objectionable … just teetering, really.

First, notice the test-tube-looking-thingy. That, I think, is actually supposed to be a thermostat with a heat index. Who knows what the scale is (but hey, who cares!). Just know that blue is bad (as in cold, in case you didn’t get it).
Then comes the phrase X% Owned. At first I thought it was supposed to mean that 99% of all fantasy teams own him. But then, how can that be, as he can only be on one team per league.
So then I thought, it must mean he’s owned in 99% of the fantasy hockey leagues sponsored by Yahoo. But is that meaningful? Why would you care about that (if you’re a hockey fan, that is … most people don’t care about hockey period)?
Well, whatever it is, poor Henrik (or The King, as he’s known here in the Big Apple), he’s only 1% free. Henrik, wherever you are, my heart goes out to you. Maybe one day you’ll be a free man again … all of you, that is.
As always, thanks for listening.

hahaha, good example of usability craziness!
By the way, this article looks pretty much like the articles I post in my blog. Would you maybe like to post an article like that in my blog? Of course, in exchange I would place a link in the article pointing to your blog.
Contact me if you like the idea.
