It struck me an interesting thing to do would be to compare what would have happened if you had invested your US dollars in Linden dollars versus a variety of other major currencies. Here are the results.
NB: finding solid historical data on the Linden $ is hard, so some of the data is “smoothed.” Perhaps you can spot where. Also, the data is weekly, and from July 2004 to the present.
Prices based on USD per 1 Pound, USD per 1 Euro, USD per 100 Yen, and USD per 100 Linden $
As always, thanks for listening (and looking).

Alex, you and your readers might interested in the analysis of the Linden economy here, done about a year ago.

And my own take on the above article

Your graph is not clear; what is on the Y-axis? Clearly it’s percent change, but percent change in what variable, value? inflation? What’s your analysis for us dunces?
Also, your URL textbox for comments says “URI”
I’ve updated the chart to make the y-axis label a bit clearer (I hope).
Also, interesting articles, Michael.

So, essentially for almost exactly a year, even the Linden dollar has been appreciating relative to the U.S. dollar.
Gimme back Greenspan (or was this his fault in the first place?)
